Flintshire Mind Website

This website has been designed to be as accessible as possible to the widest number of people.
It has been written in standard XHTML as recommended by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and validated through the W3C Quality Assurance Validation Service. This ensures that it will be readable by the widest range of web browsers including text only browsers.

The website was created using separate Cascading Style Sheets which help to reduce the site’s loading time over slow internet connections and assist in making the site more accessible.

The site has been designed according to the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative recommendations and checked against the Priority 1 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. These guidelines are intended to make a website more accessible to people with disabilities. Following the guidelines should mean that the text and navigation can be read by screen readers for text impaired people. The text can also be enlarged and colours changed to assist people with a visual impairment, as well as including other accessibility features.
