Members and Directors

If you’d like to get more involved in the work of Flintshire Mind you could join us as a member or a director.

Becoming a member of Flintshire Mind is a great way to support the valuable work we do, have a say in the direction we take and the services we provide and provide vital feedback on our services.  Members get involved by sharing their experiences with us so that we can campaign for better services in our county, voting at our AGM and attending occasional meetings to determine the direction Flintshire Mind takes

If you’d like to get more involved you might consider becoming a director.  The main role of a director is to oversee the running of the organisation and this involves attending board of directors’ meetings.  Flintshire Mind welcomes new directors and is keen to explore how they can put their skills and interests to good use to help local people experiencing mental distress.  We also positively encourage and welcome people who have experienced mental distress themselves to become directors.
